Two new volumes of the great Vintage Series collection.
Vol. 4 was recorded in the studio in New York City in the Spring of 1973, with Matthew Murphy and George Gates, in preparation for Elliott's first album 'Aquashow'. The disc is filled with what Elliott calls "precious demos", recorded in early 1974 before the band left for L.A. to record 'Lost Generation'. These demos feature Rick Marata on drums and Frank Owens on piano (he played on 'Blonde on Blonde'!).
Vol.5 was recorded in the late 70's and early 80's in New York City and contains outtakes from various albums and songs for Pete Beard's photo exhibition. A really great collection of songs that make of it probably the best Vintage series CD to this day and a proof of Elliott's great songwriting talents. Among the musicians we find Ernie Brooks, Tony Machine, Ellen Shipley, Kenny Laguna or Ralph Schuckett. Both volumes have great sound.

El vol. 4 contiene las primeras grabaciones en estudio en 1973 con Matthew Murphy y George Gates, en preparación del álbum 'Aquashow'. Contiene tambien dos demos en estudio de 1974 (antes de grabar 'Lost Generation' en Los Angeles), grabadas con Rick Marata a la batería y Frank Owens (tocaba en Blonde on Blonde de Bob Dylan) al piano.
El vol. 5 se grabó a finales de los años 70 y principios de los 80, y contiene sesiones inéditas de estudio para diversos discos. Es sin duda una gran álbum y posiblemente el mejor de esta colección hasta ahora. Concierto de tributo a Leonard Cohen grabado en Sant Cugat (Barcelona) el 2007, con la participación de Jackson Browne, Elliott Murphy (cantando "Diamonds in the Mine"), Jabier Muguruza, Santiago Auserón, Javier Colis, Luís Eduardo Aute, Christina Rosenvinge y otros, incluyendo a Adam Cohen, hijo de Leonard. The first volume of this collection contains rare demos & studio sessions for the albums Aquashow (recorded Oct. 1972) and Just a Story From American (Oct. 1976). See contents below. This CD will be exclusively available here (not in stores) and at Elliott's live shows. The album comes in a cardboard sleeve and the CD label resembles that of an old vinyl.

Primero de una serie de CDs exclusivos que Elliott quiere ofrecer a sus fans con temas inéditos, demos, conciertos, etc... El volumen 1 incluye sesiones de grabación de dos de sus más apreciados (e imposibles de conseguir): Aquashow (grabado en octubre de 1972) y Just a Story From America (grabado en octubre de 1976). Fantástico sonido y canciones que son auténticas joyas de la mejor época del artista. El disco viene presentado en una funda de cartón, al estilo de los viejos vinilos. El propio CD tiene un diseño parecido a un vinilo. El disco no estará en tiendas, sólo en la web oficial.

2nd studio from the spanish band, now sung in spanish. Elliott Murphy plays harmonica on two songs, Olivier Durand plays guitar on two songs, Kenny Margolis play in one song and Danny Montgomery play in a few tracks.
Stormy Mondays do on this album a nice version (in spanish!) of Elliott's "Tell Me" ("Dime").

Segundo disco en estudio (ahora totalmente en castellano) de la banda de Oviedo. Elliott Muprhy y Olivier Durand tocan en dos temas, Kenny Margolis en uno y el batería Danny Montgomery en unos cuantos.
